Welcome to InsuranceForMyNonprofit.org, the website that helps you assess the insurance needs of your nonprofit organization and submit requests for quotes to insurers that serve nonprofit organizations and have agreed to participate in this site. Our current participating insurers are listed on the left hand side of this page. Brokers, agents and other insurance advisors may also use this site on behalf of their nonprofit clients. We know that small and medium sized nonprofit organizations sometimes have difficulty identifying the insurance coverage they need and finding an insurer. The nonprofit Public Entity Risk Institute (PERI) created InsuranceForMyNonprofit.org to address both these problems.
No-Cost Assessment.
To identify the types of coverage that may benefit your organization, you will register with the Site (registration is free) and complete a confidential online exposure assessment questionnaire about your organization and its activities. This questionnaire is brief, and need not be finished in one session. You will be provided with educational information and feedback during the assessment. When the questionnaire is complete, you will receive suggestions about the types of insurance coverage that might benefit your organization and risk management suggestions generated by your response to the exposure questionnaire. Your information will be stored and accessible in a password protected area for your future use.
If you choose, you may also complete a coverage assessment questionnaire and request quotes for coverage from participating insurers. Participating insurers may require that you provide additional information. If you choose to purchase insurance from a participating insurer, you and the insurer will complete that transaction off the site.
PERI cannot guarantee that any participating insurers will offer coverage to your nonprofit. However, the questionnaires are designed to capture the information that participating insurers tell us they need, and thus to help you present a strong case for your organization.
This website is offered as part of PERI's nonprofit mission to advance the practice of risk management by small organizations. PERI does not sell insurance and is not an insurance carrier, agent or broker. PERI is not soliciting insurance applications on behalf of participating insurers, and is not paid a commission or other compensation by participating insurers for requests for quotes received or for insurance written for users who submit a request for quote through InsuranceForMyNonprofit.org. Any insurance transaction is solely between the subscriber and the participating insurer.
PERI does not represent that the participating insurers on this site are the only insurers that can serve users' needs. They are simply the insurers who, to date, have decided to support this effort. It is our desire to be able to provide users with as much information and as many options as possible, and we welcome new participating insurers at any time.
